Best Friend
Oscar wasn't just a dog. He was family — a wooden floor, a warm bowl, and a bed that still holds his shape.
Chapter Two
The Promise
One evening, in a quiet room, a promise was made out loud: “I'll show you the world.”
Chapter Three
Building The Mission
A weather balloon. A foam capsule. Two cameras, a GPS tracker, and one very small green alien for company.
Chapter Four
Launch
A field at sunrise. Helium, hope, and shaking hands. Home became smaller; the adventure became bigger.
Chapter Five
Edge Of Space
Thirty kilometres up, the sky finally turned black. Every good boy deserves one last adventure.
Chapter Six
The Return
At 33 kilometres the balloon gave everything it had and burst. A parachute opened, and the world grew back around him.
Chapter Seven
Recovery
Found in the long grass, camera still running. The mission came home.
Chapter Eight
The Final Promise
